"Trash The Cake" - Charity Fundraiser
You have heard of “Trash the Dress”; well this is “Trash the Cake”. This will be a fundraiser to benefit The Shrine Hospital ( http://www.shrinershq.org/Hospitals/Main/ ) --a very important local and international organization that helps children who need medical help and cannot afford it.
 To raise the money we sold tickets that entered you into a raffle that raffled the opportunity to participate in the “Trash the Cake” event. The day of the event we drew the names of the six contestants who participated in the event and they came down to the store. We had the spectacular 0.63CT Round Brilliant Cut Diamond Solitaire ring hidden in the cute cake that Michele Richardson made; special for this event, along with some other fake solitaire rings. The contestants gathered around the cake and begun to dig through the cake in search of the diamond ring, all eager to find this beautiful ring.
In the end it was Congratulations to Marty and Frank, as Frank was the LUCKY individual who found the diamond ring.
In the end we sold 145 Raffle Tickets....Raising a Total of $1,000.00 for the Shriners Hospital for Children!
It was a very fun event that we hope to host again in the future. When we can reward our customers, while helping a VERY worth cause, it is a WIN-WIN!
