 As members of Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) we have the opportunity to travel to Antwerp, Belgium; the Diamond Capital of the World. We travel to Antwerp twice a year (in the spring and the fall) to buy diamonds directly from the Diamond Cutters. In addition to purchasing diamonds for our store, we also serve as a diamond broker for some of our customers, finding the perfect diamond for them in Antwerp. We always enjoy finding a Special Diamond for Someone Special and seeing how much it means to them knowing that their Love Story is represented by a hand-selected Diamond just for them and one that traveled all the way across the Atlantic from Europe to show their love!
Because we deal directly with the Diamond Cutters in Antwerp, we get to buy our Diamonds before they are fully priced. When we sort Diamonds in Antwerp the diamonds are only sorted by size (not yet by Color or Clarity), allowing us to buy them for a lot less and allowing us to price them a lot lower. Which means we could find you a much larger, much more spectacular, Diamond for a much smaller price tag. Everyone likes more for less, especially when the "more" (the Diamond) will last forever!
